Endemic tree

kio ora bloggers

Today I will be taking about the endemic trees.
Many of the plants and trees are found in new Zealand and not other trees.
These plants and trees are endemic to our country.
In New Zealand, one of the largest and longest living endemic trees is the New Zealand kauri trees. Some people refer to it as the lord of the forest.

  1. Fakaalofa lahi atu Hadiya,

You have included some background information about our Kauri trees. Perhaps next time you could explain what the word 'endemic' means so that readers who may not know can understand this information better. Do you know how long Kauri trees are said to live?

One day I would like to visit Tāne Mahuta so I can see the mighty tree up close. They grow to be so tall and magnificent I’d love to see it in person as a picture wouldn’t do it justice.

In order to get full points for this activity, please edit your post to include whether you would like to visit Tāne Mahuta or not and why. Keep working hard Hadiya, I look forward to reading more of your posts over the summer :)

    Toe feiloa’i fo’i,

    Cia.
